About

Arnab Chakraborty was nominated as the best singer for the Zee Cine Awards and Stardust Awards' 2005, for his popular song 'Wada Raha' from the movie 'Khakee'.

He has worked with eminent composers like Ram Sampath, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Salim-Sulaiman, Shantanu Moitra, M.M. Kreem, Pritam and others.

 

On 4th May 2008, Smt.Asha Bhosle, The Legendary Singing Icon Of India declared Arnab as the Champion of ‘K for KISHORE’ - a musical reality show based on the songs of the legendary Indian singer Kishore Kumar, on Sony Entertainment Television.

 

Arnab Chakraborty is the voice behind The Official Anthem for the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2014, held in Bangladesh. Along with singing for movies, pop and remix albums he has also sung and composed popular advertisement jingles for brands like Airtel, Parachute, Samsung, Britannia, 7UP, Coca Cola, Asian Paints, Odonil, Colgate and host of others.


Apart from being a Vocalist, Arnab has also ventured into Music Production and Composition and his music has been featured in two award winning movies - 'Teenkahon' and 'The Violin Player'. His voice was also featured in the song 'Chocolatey Chunnu' in Walt Disney's Hindi blockbuster, 'Jagga Jasoos'.

Arnab's song 'Bhule Jao', which he wrote, sang and composed, is featured in the Amazon India Original Series - Paatal Lok (2020). His latest song is 'Ek Adhoora Kaam Hai' from the Netflix India Film - Ram Prasad Ki Tehrvi (2021).
